AniEvo ID – This news comes from MyAnimeList.net The MURCIÉLAGO anime has finally dropped a new teaser that has fans even more hyped! The anime adaptation of the manga by Kana Yoshimura has officially unveiled a teaser promotional video (PV) and a new visual ahead of its premiere in January 2027.

On top of that, its three main characters, Kuroko Koumori, Hinako Tozakura, and Chiyo Yanaoka, can finally be heard speaking for the first time. The teaser offers an early glimpse of the brutal action, dark comedy, and criminal-underworld conflict that will be the series' main draw.

Hitomi Ueda, Minori Suzuki, and Sumire Uesaka Voice the Main Trio

Through the new teaser PV, fans can finally hear the voices of three key characters in the story. Hitomi Ueda officially voices Kuroko Koumori, the dangerous, mysterious, and unpredictable protagonist.

Meanwhile, Minori Suzuki has been cast as Hinako Tozakura, a cheerful figure who plays an important role amid the chaos of the criminal world. Rounding out the trio is Sumire Uesaka as Chiyo Yanaoka, Kuroko's lover and the daughter of the head of the Yanaoka-kai.

The three are expected to bring some compelling dynamics to the story. Just imagine personal relationships, violent action, and dark humor all mixed into one narrative. It's this combination that gives MURCIÉLAGO a flavor all its own compared to typical action anime.

New Visual Highlights the Contrasts of MURCIÉLAGO's World

Besides the teaser PV, the production team also released a teaser visual featuring Kuroko, Hinako, and Chiyo in strikingly contrasting styles.

Kuroko is seen holding a pistol, while Chiyo appears with a weapon of her own. Hinako, on the other hand, looks far more relaxed alongside her bicycle. The contrast seems to hint at how the characters' lives can shift from ordinary moments to dangerous chaos in the blink of an eye.

That contrast fits the identity of MURCIÉLAGO, which blends urban life, extreme crime, brutal action, and dark comedy. So don't expect the story to stay laid-back for long!

Satelight and Staple Entertainment Handle the Animation

On the production side, the MURCIÉLAGO anime is a collaboration between Satelight and Staple Entertainment. The project also involves a number of staff members responsible for bringing the manga's world to animation.

Takashi Naoya serves as Chief Director and also handles series composition. Meanwhile, Matsuo Asami takes the director's chair.

Sei Tateishi is in charge of character design, adapting the characters' look for the anime. The music is composed by Masanori Akita alongside Yuichi Tsuchiya.

One aspect drawing particular attention is the driving sequences, or car action. That makes a lot of sense, since Hinako's driving skills are a key element of the series. With its mix of action, unique characters, and an intense criminal world, fans are surely hoping the anime adaptation will be just as thrilling as the manga.

That popularity is one of the reasons the anime adaptation is worth looking forward to. The manga is still ongoing, with Volume 29 released by SQUARE ENIX on July 24, 2026.

Now fans just have to wait and see how the story of Kuroko and the rest of the cast will come to life in animation. After all, the latest teaser has already started to show off the characters and the atmosphere of the story.
